No. It's an organizational and educational system, not financial, legal, tax or insurance advice, and it isn't a will or estate plan. It helps you record what exists and where, and flags the moments worth checking with a professional where you live. Nothing in it is a product pitch.

What is the Family Preparedness Folder?

It's the second file you download, and the thing you actually build: the pages you complete and keep. Print Level 1 now and add the rest as you go. You decide whether it lives on paper, digitally, or both, and who knows where to find it.

Will I be writing down my passwords?

No, and it tells you not to. The Folder is a map, not a vault. You record which accounts exist and where secure access is kept, such as a password manager's emergency access feature. Passwords, PINs, recovery codes and full card numbers never go in it.

Will it work where I live?

Yes. It's written to work anywhere. It avoids country-specific rules, accounts and legal terms, and instead shows you exactly what to check locally.
